PONDEROSA MILLWORKS is our parent company which is based in Oakland, CA. Together, we set on a reclaimed and repurposed mission to rescue urban trees and milling logs that would ordinarily be turned into firewood or go to the landfill.  In fact, we have two major sawmill operations to consistently maintain an extensive inventory of different coastal wood types. People who visit our shop and warehouses expect to see beautifully figured grain slabs.  Therefore, we constantly aim to fulfill that expectation and more.

Most of our orders consist of custom finished furniture pieces specific to respective project designs.  However, we also have a few already built in-house pieces on display for sale as well.  For customers with special requests, our resources are flowing with a lot of salvaged and recycled logs that can be milled to specific dimensions.  We retail and wholesale to individuals, interior designers, architects, and businesses for woodworking, residential or commercial projects.
